Yongying Huang

Dr. Huang Yongying is a Distinguished Associate Research Fellow at the Institute of Economics, Economics and Management School, Wuhan University. He joined Wuhan University in July 2024. Before that, he worked as a Research Assistant at City University of Hong Kong from September 2023 to June 2024. He received his PhD and master’s degrees in Business Administration from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and earned his bachelor’s degree in Public Finance from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.

Dr. Huang’s research focuses on public finance, taxation, and social security. His work examines pension insurance reform, capital and labor mobility, the incidence and redistributive effects of social security contributions, tax incentives, rent sharing, and income inequality within firms. His research has been published in journals including Economic Research Journal, Management World, and The Journal of Quantitative & Technical Economics.
