Junjie Xia
Tenured Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Economics, Central University of Finance and Economics; Director of the Center for New Structural Economics. Research fields include New Structural Economics, Macroeconomics, Finance, and Development Economics. Relevant research has received awards such as the CICF Best Paper Award, the CES North America Annual Conference Best Paper Award, and the China Labor Economics Annual Conference Best Paper Award. Research reports have received affirmative instructions from national leaders.
He is leading one General Program project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has participated in multiple special and general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as one project funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Southern California in 2017. He previously served as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of New Structural Economics, Peking University, and currently holds a concurrent position as a Visiting Professor at the same institute.
