Alessandro Rebucci

Alessandro Rebucci is Associate Professor of Finance at the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. He holds joint appointments at the Carey Business School Edward St. John Real Estate Program and the Economics Department of the JHU Krieger School of Art and Science. He is a NBER Faculty Research Fellow (IFM Program) a CEPR Research Fellow (International Macroeconomics and Finance Programme), and a non-resident faculty at the International Business School in the Beijing School of Foreign Studies. Prof. Rebucci is also Associate Editor of Economia, the Journal of LACEA.

Prof. Rebucci’s research, teaching and policy interests are in areas of international finance, housing and housing finance, and macroeconomics. His current research focuses on the international dimension of real estate and on the role of borrowing constraints for macroeconomic dynamics, monetary and macro-prudential policies. Prof. Rebucci published extensively in these areas in top refereed journals, including the Journal of International Economics and the Journal of Monetary economics, and the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking.
